My name is Themba Moris Zakaria Mabona). I am originally from Mpumalanga, and guiding has been my true calling ever since I can remember.

I am proud to serve as a cultural guide in Gauteng Province, with a special passion for culture, history, and township stories. I speak English, Swati, and Zulu, and have always believed that understanding people begins with listening and with empathy. I do not judge; I simply share, learn, and walk with people on their journey of discovery.

My path into guiding started humbly but meaningfully: I began at Mandela House, feeling the pulse of history, the weight of stories, and the energy of people connecting with their past. That experience lit a fire in me. I wanted to know more, to deeper understand the land, the people, their histories and how culture shapes identity.

As a storyteller, I love to take visitors through the townships: not just the landmarks, but the memories, the voices, the hopes, the laughter, the challenges. I try to bring history alive, weaving culture and context so that each tour feels like being part of a bigger story—not just an observer.
