Guide Profile:
I am passionate about sharing what South Africa has to offer tourists, enjoy travelling and often use new routes not travelled by the mainstream if time allows.

Started my guiding career in 2007 and spent first few years as night tour guide (including Zoo sleepovers) at Pretoria Zoo, educating people on the wild animals in a safe environment.
Have also toured with a few companies, mainly now with 2 operators, doing private tours for the one including most places of interest around Gauteng, Mpumalanga Panorama Route, Kruger National Park, Pilanesberg as well as with Rovos Rail visiting Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Eswatini (Swaziland), Namibia as well as South Africa from East to West and South to North.

As a family we enjoy the outdoors camping as often as we can and one of our favourite places is the Kruger National Park, also enjoy touring South Africa.

Play a bit of golf now and then, but golf is my handicap.

I keep up-to-date with the tourism industry and attend courses to improve my knowledge whenever I can.

I am a board Member of The Institute of Professional Tourist Guides of Southern Africa (IPTGSA) – we are striving to help guide be professional and keep up to date by arranging educationals to various tourist sites.
