KITCHEN CLEANER
The Kitchen Cleaner Skills Programme is a CATHSSETA accredited skills programme designed to equip learners with the essential cleaning, hygiene, and workplace safety skills required in commercial food preparation environments. The programme focuses on cleaning food production areas, utensils, cutlery, crockery, and equipment, as well as the correct handling and storage of cleaning materials and the safe disposal of waste.
Learners are also trained in maintaining health, hygiene, and professional appearance, understanding workplace layouts, and ensuring safe and secure working environments. The programme combines theory and workplace-based learning to prepare learners for effective employment as kitchen cleaners in restaurants, hotels, catering operations, and other hospitality establishments.

- Different cleaning equipment & materials.

Duration: 16 Days (Including theory and practical).
Certification: Drum Beat Academy and CATHSSETA Certificate.
Entrance Requirements:
- Learners should have a basic comprehension of English.
- Basic reading and writing skills are required.
Assessment:
- Practical assessment on cleaning the kitchen in a restaurant, hotel or guesthouse.
- Questionnaire on theory.
- Assignment on workplace implementation.
