CLEANER SKILLS PROGRAMME
This skills programme has been developed for individuals in the accommodation industry (hospitality). The purpose is to empower the successful candidates with knowledge and skills to clean public areas and ensure a safe and secure working environment. This qualification will make the industry more professional and is applicable to all sectors from small to large-scale establishments.
COURSE CONTENT
- Maintain health, hygiene and professional appearance.
- Maintain a secure environment.
- Maintain a safe working environment.
- Handle and store cleaning equipment and materials.
- Handle and dispose of waste.
- Clean floors and floor coverings.
- Clean and maintain public areas.
- Service toilets and washrooms.

Inhouse Learning - For groups of 8+ people at your venue.

COURSE STRUCTURE
Inhouse Duration: 3 Days.
Distance Learning Duration: 3 Weeks.
Certification: Drum Beat Academy and CATHSSETA Certificate.
Entrance Requirements:
- Learners should have a basic comprehension of English.
- Basic reading and writing skills are required.
Assessment:
- Practical assessment on cleaning the public areas (lobby, bathrooms, etc.) in a restaurant, hotel or guesthouse.
- Questionnaire on theory.
- Assignment on workplace implementation.
